Da$htone Calls On L.A. VanGogh & Manasseh For Introspective Track/Video “Frozen”

Chicago is packed with talent and Da$htone is another group that deserves some more attention. Coming in with some strong jazzy vibes, excellent lyrics, and a co-sign from one of my favorite artists, L.A. VanGogh, this group seems to have it all. Their latest song/video for Frozen shows just how much skill they bring to the table. Complete with introspective lyrics, silky smooth flows, a simple yet swanky beat, and some heavenly vocals from newcomer Manasseh, this track was immediately ear catching and relaxing. L.A. VanGogh makes a solid appearance as well to round out this dope track and shows why he’s quickly becoming one of Chicago’s most sought after artists. On top of the song itself being impressive, the video does a great job of telling a story and bringing some additional life to the already vibrant music, plus it looked like it was a lot of fun to make. Another one of my favorite artists of all time is California’s Blu, and this track/video combination really reminds me of some throwback Blu & Exile, especially during the Below The Heavens era, which produced some of my favorite music ever.
