Musa Reems Gets Lyrical on Lately I’ve Been Sol Searching

As some of you know, I’ve been behind on the write ups over the past few weeks. That being said, I had to come back and revisit Musa Reems’ new project, Lately I’ve Been Sol Searching, which is also his debut with AEMMP Records. Full of excellent production from Curbside Jones and very solid writing from Musa, this tape is a great example of Musa’s work and shows just how talented of an MC he is. The lyrical content on this one is second to none and it really puts Musa in rarified air in terms of lyrical prowess in Chicago. Reems also proves he doesn’t need anyone else to make a hot tape, the only feature on the whole project being Amare Symoné who appears on Dusk to show the duo, who also have a project out together, still has solid chemistry.
