Fanaticus – Lucid Dreaming

While this is the first time I’ve listened to Fanaticus, I don’t think it’ll be the last. His project Lucid Dreaming is an interesting tape with a few bright spots that show there’s a lot of potential to be found here. The lead off track, Here, is one of my favorites and it does a good job of setting up the atmosphere and sound for the rest of the tape. The track does a good job of highlighting the excellent harmonies, mellow production, and introspective lyrics Fanaticus’ music is capable of. Work Out is another song where Fanaticus shows some solid flow over vibrant live instrumentation that adds another layer to the sound. Listen to all of Lucid Dreaming below.
