Glassic- Safe Travels

Glassic is one of Chicago’s best producers and he finally gets to show off his immense talent with an entire project. Safe Travels features some of Chicago’s best hip hop artists including Qari, Marko Stat$, Futura Bloom, Kahrion, and more. This squad comes together around Glassic’s smooth, high quality production for nine tracks of very dope music which highlights each artist’s unique talents all the while lifting Glassic’s sounds to the forefront. All nine songs are worth a listen but Too Wild featuring Marko Stat$ and Ways That U Could Be in particular stuck out to me. You can always count on Qari for some melancholy tunes and this time he hops on a slow burning soundscape from Glassic. Qari’s poetic delivery meshes beautifully with the airy production as he tells a winding tale of relationships and life. Listen to the entirety of Safe Travels below.
