Mulatto Beats shows that the work he’s been putting in has been deliberate, thorough, and most of all, dope. .22 Summers is full of hand crafted beats for some of the game’s best up and coming MCs including a handful of Chicago’s most talented artists and not a single one of them disappoints. From the jump, starting with the Lucki assisted track Self Destruct, it feels like Mulatto created each and every beat specifically for the artist who is featured on it, culminating in one of the most complete and well placed albums this year.
